We received so many wonderful notimations for our Mommy Makeover Giveaway it was very difficult to pick a winner. However, we narrowed it down and are pleased to congratulate Meridee McFalls on winning a brand new smile!
Meridee was notimated by her sister. Her notimation is below.
I am writing you to nominate my sister Meridee McFalls for your Mother's Day smile giveaway. Being the oldest of 4 kids she always "mothered" us as we were growing up. She has been my best friend and confidant my entire adult life. She has always looked out for my best interest and been my rock through all of my hard times. Our mother passed away 9 years ago and she stepped in to make sure all of our family traditions kept going. She is the most kind hearted and positive person I know. She was the manager of Orchard Lanes bowling alley for a long time and then bought it from the owners. This was her dream! ( She had worked there off and on since she was 16.) Her slogan was Making Memories that last a lifetime and she did that very well. Every spring she would drive around to all of the elementary schools in the county and give them free game passes so the kids could come their for their year end field trips. This was truly why she put all the extra hours in there just to see the kids faces and make them happy. It was the highlight of what she did. She is very well known in the community because of her awesome character and love of life and kids.
Being a single mother of two for almost 10 years she worked extra hard to make sure her kids always had everything they needed and a lot of things they wanted. She always goes over the top for birthdays and Christmas and makes sure each of her kids feel special! A few years ago she remarried and took on another kid who is a delight to our family and has special needs. This didn't slow her down a bit. Somehow she finds the time to spend the extra amount of time needed to help him with his homework and calm him down when he gets upset.
Last year the land got sold that the bowling alley was on and she had to close it down. Despite the difficulty and heartbreak of losing her dream she remained positive through it all and did her monthly trainings with her employees right up to the last month. She is known to be the best boss ever, always willing to lend a listening ear or go out of her way to help any of her employees, or anyone for that matter, no matter the situation.
A few months ago her husbands parents went missing from their winter home in Arizona. This has been a huge tragedy for our family. Initially her and her husband Jerry spent two weeks down there searching but then they had to get back home to work and taking care of things here. She now has the daily pressure of dealing with the detectives, news media and the awesome people that have reached out to help us search. Amidst the overwhelming pressure of this all she doesn't skip a beat and remains positive every day! Any extra money is spent traveling back down to Arizona on weekends when they can to continue to search.
No matter what hat she is wearing ie: Mother, friend, sister, wife, boss etc. she does it with grace, style and a positive attitude. She never complains and I think she is secretly Wonder Woman!
We come from a family that genetically has bad teeth and so she is in dire need of this gift. I know insurance is an issue right now and she has had a few teeth that have been bothering her for the last year. A few months ago she went to look into getting dentures but it was too expensive. This would mean the world to her to have a beautiful smile to go with her always positive beautiful attitude and most of all to not have to deal with mouth pain on top of everything else she is going through.
Thank you so much for considering her for this gift. I believe she is more deserving than anyone on the planet. :)
Dr. Willardsen can't wait to get started on this dental implant makeover and give Meridee the beautiful smile she deserves!
