Important COVID-19 Update

As the status of COVID-19 and corresponding recommendations change frequently, we are doing our best to keep up and adjust our policies as quickly as possible.

Your health and the health of our staff are our top priority, and that is why we are STILL OPEN, but have implemented some new procedures to limit the number of patients coming in at any given time, screen everybody coming into the office, increase sterilization above recommended standards, and comply with the most recent recommendations from the ADA and CDC.

Our office follows strict cleaning and sterilization protocols for the protection of our patients. In addition to the continued use of hospital grade sterilization equipment in our office, we clean all contact surfaces between each appointment. We use disinfectants across the office, including frequent sanitation of the front office and patient waiting area. Our employees maintain personal hygiene as well as wearing surgical masks and washing their hands and changing their gloves between each patient.

Stubbs Dental

Monthly Donation Recipient John Wayne Duke

By Alicia Green on September 12, 2018

Each month Stubbs Dental donates the proceeds of all new patient exams to a deserving member of our community. August's recipient is John Wayne Duke from Bountiful, Utah.

John went in to see a doctor on May 4th, 2018. John is young and has always been very healthy and has rarely been to a doctor prior to that date. After blood tests received on the 7th, he was told to go straight to the ER and was admitted to the hospital. A subsequent bone marrow biopsy led to, a same day call, to come to the Huntsman Cancer Center and he was told he would begin “aggressive” chemo right away for Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

John received the needed bone marrow transplant on July 17th. His sister, Lori, was blessed to be his donor! Since July 17th, considered day 0, or as the nurses put it “his new birthday”, John had a few bumps in the road but overall he has done great! John was able to go home from his long stay at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital. John sees doctors a couple times a week . He has to be very cautious and wear a face mask when out of the house due to his new immue system.

Stubbs Dental was able to donate $2,445 dollars to help John with medical and treatment expenses. If you are interested in reading John's full story or donating to his cause please visit his Go Fund Me page.

So remember, when you become a patient at Stubbs Dental not only are you helping yourself by taking care of your teeth, you are helping a deserving member of your local community! If you would like to nominate someone to receive the Stubbs Dental donation please send an email to marketing@stubbsdental.com.
