Monthly Donation - Mike Teller
Each month Stubbs Dental donates the proceeds of all new patient exams to a deserving member or organization of our community. January's recipient is Mike Teller.
In 2014 Mike Teller and his family suffered from a heartbreaking loss. Their young daughter, Mariah, passed away from a rare DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumor. This childhood tumor is aggressive and devastating. Three months later the family found out that Mike had been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia.
Mike will have to continue chemotherapy for the rest of his life and he travels to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Phoenix, AZ every three months for additional treatment.
Mike and his wife, Terra, are also loving foster parents. Even through their hard times they share their strength and love with others.
