Important COVID-19 Update

As the status of COVID-19 and corresponding recommendations change frequently, we are doing our best to keep up and adjust our policies as quickly as possible.

Your health and the health of our staff are our top priority, and that is why we are STILL OPEN, but have implemented some new procedures to limit the number of patients coming in at any given time, screen everybody coming into the office, increase sterilization above recommended standards, and comply with the most recent recommendations from the ADA and CDC.

Our office follows strict cleaning and sterilization protocols for the protection of our patients. In addition to the continued use of hospital grade sterilization equipment in our office, we clean all contact surfaces between each appointment. We use disinfectants across the office, including frequent sanitation of the front office and patient waiting area. Our employees maintain personal hygiene as well as wearing surgical masks and washing their hands and changing their gloves between each patient.

Monthly Donation - The Road Home By Alicia Green on September 17, 2019

Each month Stubbs Dental donates the proceeds of all new patient exams to a deserving member or organization of our community. August's recipient is The Road Home.

The Road Home Midvale Utah

The Road Home is a private non-profit social services agency that assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front. The Road Home provides multiple services to help people overcome homelessness.

Emergency Shelter – The Road Home provides emergency shelter for single men, single women, and families experiencing homelessness. Currently, The Road Home runs the Salt Lake Community Shelter which serves all three populations, and the Midvale Center serving families.

Emergency Services – Our Client Engagement Team offers assistance to low-income and homeless individuals on a walk-in basis with obtaining documents, training, and supplies needed to transition back into the workforce, remain employed, qualify for housing, and more.

Case Management – The Road Home’s Case Management team works tirelessly to help each individual who turns to us for assistance in identifying and overcoming the barriers causing them to become homeless. Case managers are also vital in connecting clients to community resources that help the individual leave shelter and live successfully in our community.

Housing – The Road Home believes that housing is the solution to ending homelessness. We provide an array of housing programs including Rapid Rehousing for families and veterans, and Permanent Supportive Housing. Each housing program is designed to help with the housing and case management support needed to successfully overcome homelessness.

Stubbs Dental was able to donate $2,790 to The Road Home. If you are interested in donating to The Road Home please vist there website at www.theroadhome.org. So remember, when you become a patient at Stubbs Dental not only are you helping yourself by taking care of your teeth, you are helping a deserving organization of your local community!
