Stubbs Dental COVID-19 Policies & Updates
As the status of COVID-19 and corresponding recommendations change frequently, we are doing our best to keep up and adjust our policies as quickly as possible.
Your health and the health of our staff are our top priority, and that is why we are STILL OPEN, but have implemented some new procedures to limit the number of patients coming in at any given time, screen everybody coming into the office, up our sterilization game, and otherwise comply with the most recent recommendations from the ADA and CDC. We truly appreciate your cooperation and patience as we have to do things a little different than usual as we work through these challenging times together.
Please wear a mask at all times, excluding during your procedure. We ask that you wear a mask while in our waiting room or walking through our halls.
Patients with any flu-like symptoms cannot enter and must reschedule.
We will be taking all patient’s temperatures before check-in and asking everyone to sign an acknowledgement of no fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms, no travel outside US to affected areas, and no known exposure.
The waiting room is closed except for checking-in only, and only one at a time.
If an operatory is not available by the time you finish checking in and filling out all paperwork, you will be asked to leave your cellphone number and wait in your car until brought back to the operatory. If there is a patient checking in at the time of your arrival, we ask that you wait until he or she leaves the waiting room to enter and begin your check-in.
Hand washing and mouth rinse.
We are asking all patients to wash their hands on their way back to their operatory and rinse with provided mouthwash before being seen.
Our office follows strict cleaning and sterilization protocols for the protection of our patients. In addition to the continued use of hospital grade sterilization equipment in our office, we clean all contact surfaces between each appointment. We use disinfectants across the office, including frequent sanitation of the front office and patient waiting area. Our employees maintain personal hygiene as well as wearing surgical masks and washing their hands and changing their gloves between each patient.
